Data Processing SSS 1 (3rd Term)

Welcome to the 3rd Term of our Data Processing class. In this term, you'll embark on an exciting journey that spans ethical computing, powerful word processing, dynamic spreadsheets, and robust database management systems. This video is your quick guide through what you'll learn over the next eight academic weeks, along with our interactive CBT-based classwork and assignments.

In Week 1, we'll dive into Computer Ethics, exploring the importance of responsibility and integrity in the digital world. Then in Week 2, we build on that with Computer Ethics (Safety Measures), where you'll learn practical strategies to keep your digital environment secure.

Moving on to Week 3 and Week 4, we shift to Word Processing I & II. You'll discover how to create, format, and edit professional documents with precision and creativity. Our hands-on assignments will help you become adept at handling everyday tasks with Microsoft Word or similar tools.

In Week 5 and Week 6, we'll explore Spreadsheet 1 & 2. These sessions will equip you with the skills to manage data, use formulas for quick calculations, and generate clear, insightful reports. You'll soon be able to create dynamic, interactive spreadsheets that solve real-world problems.

Finally, in Week 7 and Week 8, we'll cover Database Management System I & II. Get ready to learn how to design, manage, and query databases effectively—fundamental skills that empower you to organize and retrieve large volumes of data efficiently.

All our classes include interactive, computer-based training (CBT) assignments and classwork each week, ensuring you not only understand theory but also gain hands-on experience.
