ICT SSS 2 (2nd term)

Information and communications technology (ICT) skills refer to one’s ability to converse with people through various technologies. Similar to information technology (IT), ICT refers to the technology used for regular, everyday tasks: sending an email, making a video call, searching the internet, using a tablet or mobile phone, and more. Studying ICT (Computing Science) at the third level means you will develop more advanced skills and knowledge. You will deepen your knowledge of technology and how it works. You will learn practical skills like coding/programming and gain a theoretical understanding of topics like computer science and web development. College graduates with ICT skills are in demand by employers in many sectors. It is widely acknowledged that there are skill shortages in the ICT area by employers, industry experts, and Government officials alike.
