🖥️ JSS 1 – Second Term Computer-Based Test (CBT)

General Instructions to Candidates

Welcome to the JSS 1 Second Term Computer-Based Test (CBT).
All JSS 1 subject tests for this term are available on this platform.

Please read the following instructions carefully before you begin.

📌 General Information

• This is a standard-based Computer-Based Test (CBT).

• The test will be taken using a computer system provided by the school.

• Students are expected to have basic knowledge of using a computer (mouse, keyboard, screen navigation).

• Each subject test is time-based and supervised according to CBT rules and modalities.

• All tests scheduled for a particular day are to be completed within the allocated session time.

⏱️ Test Duration

• The total time allocated for each test day is ONE (1) hour.

• Within this one-hour session, you are expected to complete all subject tests assigned for that day, as instructed.

• Each subject test may have its own time limit (for example 20–30 minutes per subject).

• The system will automatically submit your test when the time for any subject or the session expires.

📝 During the Test

• Read each question carefully before selecting an answer.

• You are encouraged to attempt all questions.

• Spend no more than 30 seconds on a question before moving to the next one.

• You may move forward or backward between questions within the time limit.

• Remember to save each answer as you progress.

⚠️ Important Rules

• There are NO retakes for this test.

• Do NOT seek external help during the test.

• Any form of malpractice may lead to disqualification.

• Once you click “Submit”, you cannot return to make changes.

• Network or system interruptions will not allow extra time unless approved by the invigilator.

🔐 Login & Identity

• Ensure you are logged in with your own username and password.

• Do NOT use another student’s login details.

• Any misuse of login credentials will be treated as misconduct.

👨‍🏫 Support & Supervision

• An invigilator or ICT staff will be present to guide you.

• Further instructions may be given before or during the test if necessary.

📢 After the Test

• Once you complete your test, you may be asked to drop a short review or feedback to help improve future CBTs.
