This assessment is designed to evaluate a candidate's readiness for a ICT role at Potasfield Schools across five key areas: practical technical knowledge, logical/pattern reasoning, numerical problem-solving, precision under time pressure, and professional work-style judgment.
The assessment takes 30 minutes and is divided into five timed sections. Each section measures a different, job-relevant skill — together, they provide a broad, evidence-based picture of how a candidate is likely to perform in the role, beyond what a CV or interview alone can show.
This is one part of a fuller hiring process. Results are intended to inform, not replace, the hiring panel's judgment — they should be reviewed alongside a candidate's portfolio, interview performance, and any other technical exercise conducted separately.
Candidates should note:
- Each section is timed individually and will move to the next section automatically when time expires.
- Sections cannot be revisited once submitted.
- There are no trick questions — sections are designed to reflect real, job-relevant thinking and working style.
- A quiet environment and stable mind are recommended before starting.
